Personal: Briggs is the daughter of Ken and Roseann Briggs. Her father played baseball at Chapman University and went on to play professionally, while her mother was a two-sport standout in softball and volleyball at Golden West Junior College. She has three siblings.

Briggs is currently serving as a graduate assistant softball coach at LSU during the 2025 season. She has a Golden Retriever named Idalia and credits her parents and the LSU coaching staff as people who have made a meaningful difference in her life.

Growing up, Briggs also played soccer. Her proudest accomplishment is winning back-to-back Gold Glove Awards during her college career. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She has worn No. 88 since her time at LSU.

International Experience: Briggs competed with Team USA during the 2024 Japan All-Star Series, where she tallied one hit in six at-bats and also earned a walk during the three-game set.

College Experience: Briggs was a five-year letter winner at LSU, appearing in 258 career games from 2019-2024. She ranks 10th in program history with 256 career starts and posted an impressive .350 career batting average, with 10 home runs and 104 runs batted in. Additionally, Briggs ranks fourth on LSU’s career list with 286 hits, including 29 doubles and nine triples. She earned three All-Southeastern Conference certificates, including First-Team distinction as a fifth-year senior. Briggs made history by becoming the first player in NCAA Division I softball to win back-to-back Rawlings Gold Glove awards in 2022 and 2023, solidifying her as an outstanding defensive player. She finished her career with a .987 fielding percentage after accumulating 369 putouts and 18 assists with just five errors. In her final season (2024), Briggs started all 61 games in center field for LSU. She led the Tigers with 68 hits, 44 runs scored, and 14 stolen bases while posting a .333 batting average. She produced a .412 slugging percentage, including 10 extra-base hits (six doubles, two triples, two home runs) and a team-high 20 multi-hit games, along with a 14-game hitting streak. In the 2023 season, Briggs started every game in center field and posted a .347 batting average, contributing 68 hits and leading the team with 46 runs scored. She also had 21 multi-hit games and another 14-game hitting streak. During the 2022 season, Briggs started all 57 games, ranking second on the team with a .368 average and 70 hits. She also contributed 32 runs batted in and 12 extra-base hits, including seven doubles, three triples, and two home runs. Briggs began her college career in 2021, starting every game in left field and earning a spot on the All-SEC Newcomer Team. She finished her second season with a .339 batting average, .877 OPS, and 11 stolen bases in 12 attempts. As a freshman in 2020, she started 22 of 24 games, ranking fifth on the team with a .393 batting average.
