Personal: West is the daughter of Kelly and Troy West. She majored in journalism and electronic media at Tennessee. She lists her travel ball coach, Marty Tyson, as a person who has made a difference in her life. She grew up modeling her game after Aleshia Ocasio and Sahvanna Jaquish. West also competed in soccer, basketball, and dance as a child. Her hobbies include shopping, getting her nails done, and tanning.

2024 AUX Season: West amassed 916 leaderboard points during her professional debut. She ended her rookie campaign with 840 win points and 76 stat points. She tied for fourth in the league with 490 inning win points and compiled a 7-5 game win record. West recorded 100 or more leaderboard points in a game seven times, which was good for second in the league. She was a starter in 8 out of 11 games and collected two hits in 22 at-bats. West scored four runs while drawing four walks. She tallied her first hit of her professional career against Team Edwards on June 16. Additionally, she went 1-for-3 against Team Clark on June 17. West registered a season-high 120 leaderboard points against Team Mazon on June 22 and against Team Alo on June 25.

At Tennessee: West was a four-year letter winner at Tennessee who started 177 of 202 games for the Lady Vols from 2021-24. She authored a .302 batting average with 27 home runs and 111 runs batted in. West closed her college career with 156 hits, including 38 doubles and seven triples. She led Tennessee to back-to-back Southeastern Conference regular season titles and was a First-Team All-SEC selection as a senior who started 48 games. West was the Lady Vols’ second-leading hitter with a career-best .343 batting average. She also collected a career-best 49 hits, including eight doubles and a triple, while tying for the team lead with 13 home runs. 


West was second on the team with 39 runs batted in and posted 11 multi-hit games, including three outings with three hits. She drove in nine runs while going 4-for-6 with two home runs in two games against Virginia during NCAA Regionals. West was a starter in 53 games for the Lady Vols during her junior season, hitting .276 with five home runs and 35 runs batted in. She also scored 26 runs while adding 10 doubles and a triple and guided Tennessee to an NCAA Women’s College World Series semifinal berth. West led the Lady Vols to a 10-5 victory over Alabama in the Women’s College World Series by smashing a three-run home run and hit two grand slams as a junior. 


She earned a starting assignment in 47 of 52 games as a sophomore, seeing time at catcher and in the outfield, and posted a .276 batting average with 36 hits, including nine doubles, two triples, and eight home runs. West also scored 30 runs while driving in 24 runs. As a freshman, West appeared in 44 games, including 29 starts, and ranked fourth on the team with a .326 batting average while contributing a .543 slugging percentage. She tied for second on the squad with 11 doubles, adding one home run with 13 runs batted in, and also belted a team-high three triples, which was good for sixth in the SEC. West authored a career-long seven-game hitting streak from February 27 to March 6, 2021, and was the recipient of the 2024 University of Tennessee Torchbearer Award.
