In Conference USA play, Escobar posted a perfect 12-0 record, leading the league with a 1.33 ERA and a .168 opponent batting average. She was named the Conference USA Tournament Most Valuable Player after going 3-0 with two shutouts during the tournament. Additionally, she guided Liberty to all three victories in the NCAA College Station Regional.
